Care Instructions

Step 1 — Measure Your Dog First

• Measure your dog's neck circumference, chest girth, back length, and weight using a soft flexible tape measure.
• Use the size chart to confirm the correct fit across Teacup, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL, and 3XL.
• Always prioritise girth measurement as the primary guide, using weight as a secondary confirmation only.

Step 2 — Prepare the Coat

• Open all fastenings and unfold the collar fully before placing the coat on your dog for the first time.
• Lay the coat flat and identify the neck opening, folding collar, emergency handle, D-ring, and pocket position.
• Let your dog sniff and inspect the coat calmly before fitting to build a calm and positive association.

Step 3 — Fit the Coat

• With your dog standing calmly, slip the neck opening gently over the head and position it at the base of the neck.
• Guide the coat down along the back, ensuring the emergency handle and D-ring sit correctly on the back.
• Wrap the underside panels around the belly and chest with no bunching or twisting of fabric at any point.
• Fasten all closures securely from the chest toward the belly for the most even and balanced fit.

Step 4 — Adjust the Folding Collar

• In mild conditions, fold the collar down flat along the neck for a clean, streamlined everyday look.
• In harsh, wet, or windy conditions, raise the folding collar upright to provide extra protection for the neck area.
• Ensure the collar sits comfortably without pressing against the throat or restricting your dog's natural head movement.

Step 5 — Adjust for Proper Fit

• Tighten all fastenings evenly so the coat sits centred and balanced without pulling to either side of the body.
• Two finger rule: slide two fingers under any panel or strap comfortably but with firm and even resistance.
• Check that no fabric is pressing under the armpits, behind the elbows, or rubbing along the spine at any point.
• Allow your dog to walk and turn naturally before heading out to confirm the coat moves freely with the body.

Step 6 — Attach Leash and Go

• Clip your leash directly to the reinforced D-ring on the back for secure, balanced everyday control in all weather.
• Use the integrated emergency handle for safe lifting or close guidance in sudden or unpredictable situations.
