1. 2002
Genesis of Innovation
Our goal wasn’t just to make gear; we were pioneering a commitment to Superior design. From the very beginning, our main focus has always been on engineering dog products that set the foundation for our brand, thus prioritizing comfort, safety, and durability.
2. 2005
Flagship Boutique and American Craftsmanship
Our vision evolved from concept to physical experience with the opening of our Flagship Boutique, providing a curated shopping experience tailored to pet owners. This period solidified our identity as a high-quality brand, proudly “Made in USA” by allowing us to connect directly with customers and their pets.
3. 2007
The Techno Harness Debuts
The Debut of the Techno Harness marked a major milestone for YAP, introducing our innovative approach to the market and quickly garnering attention. Thus, it became a defining product that set a new standard for pet safety and control.
4. 2008
Corporate Consolidation and Growth
Our vision evolved from concept to physical experience with the opening of our Flagship Boutique, providing a curated shopping experience tailored to pet owners. 5. 2010–2018
Broadened Product Line and Diversification
This long period was defined by expansion. We diversified our offerings, moving beyond just harnesses to include specialized wraps, coats, carriers, and accessories that cater to the diverse needs of dogs of all breeds.
6. 2019
The 100K Milestone
The consistency in the effectiveness of our designs paid off when we sold 100,000 Wraps. We proved that our commitment to engineering and quality resonated deeply with our customers. This milestone was a celebration of the community’s trust in our products.
7. 2020
International Expansion (YAP Japan)
Our reputation for superior quality has transcended borders, ultimately helping us establish an agreement with an Exclusive Distributor in Japan. Thus, marking our first major step into the international market, we are taking American-engineered excellence worldwide
2023–Today
Multi-Channel Distribution & Institutional Trust
By 2023, we began supplying durable gear to Institutional Purchasers for service and professional animals, proving our design integrity. Today, with a multi-channel presence on our website, Amazon, and showroom, YAP continues to earn trust for its quality and reliability.
